Hourly Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Standard Shift Time: 0600 to 1430

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Responsibilities:

  • Train associates for specific jobs through on-the-job training, classroom training or a combination of the two
  • Ensure all training is properly documented in Training Management System for both full time and temporary associates
  • Conduct observations to help identify areas of opportunity to improve associate performance and quality
  • Identify and assess the training needs within the facility
  • Review errors in Quality Management System and identify training opportunities based on error analysis
  • Conduct internal process audits and continuous improvement audits, and prepare specific action plans based on findings
  • Schedule and lead training meetings
  • Plan, organize and implement a range of training activities
  • Assist with the implementation and installation of a virtual warehouse; create monitored simulations, and problem-solving scenarios
  • Create handouts, instructional materials, and manuals
  • Acclimate new hires to the operation and conduct orientation sessions
  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into associate work behavior
  • Use existing QMS documentation to inspect and report quality related issues
  • Monitor areas of operation that affect quality by checking processes and final output
  • Review Shipping Accuracy CDR’s to determine root cause for discrepancy and identify trends that can be addressed through training opportunities
  • Provide feedback to management and staffing agency regarding new hire performance
  • Monitor all training requiring recertification (equipment, ESD, hazmat, etc.) and ensure recertification training is conducted within established timeframe as outlined in company Policies and Procedures

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Education: High School or Equivalent Certification
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience following documented process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work overtime dictated by business needs
  • Certified to operate powered industrial equipment
  • 5 or fewer attendance points
  • No disciplinary action in the prior 6 months
  • LEAN / Six Sigma experience preferred
  • Internal audit experience preferred (must be willing to become a certified internal auditor through company provided training) Physical Demands:
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms.
  • This position may be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch as it relates to product handling and distribution, and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • This position will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • This position will be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
  • This position may be required to climb ladders
